Another interesting player, who I think may be a dark horse in this years Third Base class is the young gun from Kansas City Mike Moustakas. Moose is putting together a nice season out there, currently a 7 but getting hot on pace for 28-32 homers and 40+ doubles. I think it is very reasonable to think that he could end up as a power 8 at the hot corner. Let's see what happens!

ReplyDeleteThanks for touching on Alvarez and Walker. Walker as a 9 would be very serviceable, so I hope he continues that pace. Alvarez has the power, but has to start drawing some walks and cut down on strikeouts to really raise that on-base. Just curious, at a 5, how big would his homer be if he finish with 35-40? Probably wouldn't draft him unless I threw big money around at other positions, but you never know...
