Great segment.. I definitely think that R.A. Dickey is a MUCH better candidate for the 3, Bucholz type than David Price is.. David Price seems much more like a 4 1-17 type player to me. Maybe it is the eye test, but I don't see any reason why a knuckle baller should be above a 3 control.
I have to second Kyle on this one. This is Price's best year to my knowledge. I think he is worthy of the 4. That isn't to say R.A. Dickey's card is worse, but I agree-the knuckle ball is unpredictable. A 3 is fair.
