Big surprise
@tomwyliehart found his 7th shot of the year going with Joey Bats.
Jose Bautista gets credit for his first shot. This is a surprising turn of
events for a player known for power. The only hope for slowing down
@tomwyliehart is that he gets caught up in the new Magic the Gathering: M14 set
and forgets to post for a little bit. Not likely to happen. More likely he
tries to use his connections at Wizards to make a Puig blue monster card. More important
that that is that I finally found my home run swing with Danny Muscles, Dan
Uggla. Finally got to play the #shotsfriday theme song. That is mine and Dan
Uggla’s first. Hope everyone finds time to send in your picks for #shotsfriday.
Today we are going to
add another feature to our blog for those of you still collecting. If you
notice on the side bar on the right of our blog are a few tabs. We have just
added one called “trading forum”. The goal here is for you all to find ways to
buy/sell/trade cards you need to help grow your collections. We do not take any
active role in that forum. You all may choose amongst yourselves how things
will take place. It should be remembered that committing mail fraud is a crime
and is punishable. We accept no responsibility for trades/sales on that forum.
We are merely providing an avenue to connect like minded people. Trade at your
own risk. There are many successful card trading sites on the internet and I
hope this becomes a resource helpful to you all.
It should be stated
that you should make sure to put the players name, year and set. Also be aware
of the different conditions of cards. Many people use the standards of Mint,
Near Mint, Played and Heavy Played. There are serviceable diagams on the
following site. Forgive that it is a Magic the Gathering Site. We will offer
our own guides soon if that makes everyone feel better.
