MLB Showdown Cards

                We have a fantasy baseball type game we play around here that allows us to root for our favorite players while day dreaming about baseball on a Friday afternoon with our favorite work appropriate beverages. It comes with wonderful prizes. The first place prize being a full 2015 Showdown set. Also it give us the opportunity to root for our favorite players to get better 2015 cards. The game is simple: each Friday pick a player you think will homer and tweet it at @MLBShowdownGuru or use the hashtag #ShotsFriday. Each correct answer is worth 1 point and earns an extra selection the next week. Rules listed below.

                1: Must tweet the players name using @MLBShowdownGuru or #ShotsFriday on twitter or comment on the Friday post.

                2: All selections for a player must be done BEFORE their game starts. If your player does not play you may pick another player at a later time or on a west coast game before the new player has batted.

                3: Each correct answer is worth 1 point.

                4: If you had a correct answer the week before you get an additional pick.

                5: The Home Run Derby will have a special #ShotsFriday worth 1 point.

                6: The Winner will receive a 2014 Color set and 3 custom cards. 2^nd place will get a 2014 Black and white set and the 3^rd place will get a David Cone and Greg Maddux 2000 card.
