#TriviaThursday - 3/5/15

The answer to last weeks #TriviaThursday question was an MLB Showdown alumnus, Mike Piazza.  Think about that: 10 consecutive seasons winning the Silver Slugger award.  Unbelievable.   @kris_barnes7 was the first to answer correctly, his second point for #TriviaThursday this season.

This week's question references an MLB Showdown player as well.  This bit of trivia I have used many times with friends and relatives, especially those with whom I have played Showdown.

In 1986, he set the record for dishing up the most homers, 50, in a single season.  The record-breaking home run was hit by Jay Bell, who was traded (along with two other players) for this player in 1985.  The record-breaking homer was also the first of Bell's career.

 1) All questions will be baseball questions, sometimes relating directly to MLB Showdown, but not always.
2) While it is impossible to regulate this, please refrain from using an internet search engine to find the answer.  If you know it, congratulations!  If you have a fairly educated guess, give it a shot.  We ask for your honesty in following this guideline.
3) Twitter answers must include the hashtag #TriviaThursday and be sent to me @RokTikiTiki in order to be counted.  Those sent to @MLBShowdownGuru do not count.
4) If no correct guess is made by the following Wednesday at noon ET, there will be no winner for that week.  A hint will be added on Friday, Monday, and Tuesday until there is a correct guess or the Wednesday deadline is reached.

Current Standings:
@JMoeller5 - 4
@Averey25 - 2
@kris_barnes7 - 2
