#TriviaThursday - 3/26/15

Congrats to @JMoeller5 for his sixth point for #TriviaThursday.  It took until Tuesday for the correct answer to arrive, but he got it in.  Surprisingly, Craig Biggio had 6 doubles off of Pedro Martinez in his career, three off of John Smoltz, and zero hits off of Randy Johnson.

This week on the blog, we revealed our 2014 Third Base charts.  We discussed how Adrian Beltre is again among the top of the third base class again this year.  So I decided to look back at how his career started for this week's #TriviaThursday question:

On June 24th, 1998, Adrian Beltre made his major league debut for the Los Angeles Dodgers.  In his first at-bat he doubled home Paul Konerko to tie the game at 1-1 in the bottom of the second inning.  Which pitcher (who has a foil 2000 MLB Showdown card) did he get this hit off of?
1) All questions will be baseball questions, sometimes relating directly to MLB Showdown, but not always.
2) While it is impossible to regulate this, please refrain from using an internet search engine to find the answer.  If you know it, congratulations!  If you have a fairly educated guess, give it a shot.  We ask for your honesty in following this guideline.
3) Twitter answers must include the hashtag #TriviaThursday and be sent to me @RokTikiTiki in order to be counted.  Those sent to @MLBShowdownGuru do not count.
4) If no correct guess is made by the following Wednesday at noon ET, there will be no winner for that week.  A hint will be added on Friday, Monday, and Tuesday until there is a correct guess or the Wednesday deadline is reached.

Current Standings:
@JMoeller5 - 6
@kris_barnes7 - 3
@Averey25 - 2
