#ShotsFriday- 2013 Schedule

We had a few Shots from last week. First off @Chris_Roth who if I remember right was the first person to pick a homer for us this year found his second with Miguel Cabrera. It was Miguel Cabrera’s third. That keeps @Chris_Roth in striking distance to get that coveted third spot. Sadly Miggy seems to be banged up. We wish him the best around here. @TherealJohnR found some power with Brandon Phillips. That is his first and Phillips first. Hopefully Phillips can get that OBP up for his Showdown card and for the sake of reporters. I also found my power stroke. I picked old reliable Matt Holliday to go deep and work toward his normal 10 OB, 19-20 HR, 16-18 2B card. I got my third and Holliday got his first of the year. We are getting close to the end of the season which makes me super excited for the creation of our 2013 set. Some of you are curious what the time frames look like and how some of the process works. Here is a bit of insight into how our team will be working for the coming months.

Friday Sept. 27^th. Last #ShotsFriday of the season.

Winner gets to pick 3 custom cards to be made.  Second place pick 2 custom cards to be made. Third gets to pick 1. (Not part of our 2013 set but will be added to our lot of “legal” cards. (currently @Tomwyliehart 1^st, @roktikitiki 2^nd, 3 Tied for 3^rd)

Sunday Sept 29^th. Seasons final game. We can begin working on the charts for our 2013 set (@mlbshowdownguru, @markrom3, @bucNforthecard)

Friday  Oct 4^th. Final cuts made. 600 players who will be made for 2013 names will be unveiled by division weekly on Fridays. (@mlbshowdownguru, @markrom3, @roktikitiki,@bucNforthecard)

November 3rd. All cards charts should be created according to our formula and pointed for the rough draft. (@mlbshowdownguru pointing)

November 3^rd-17^th.  Our staff will debate which players deserve special treatment for the good of the set and based on the legacy of the players.  (@mlbshowdownguru, @markrom3, @roktikitiki,@bucNforthecard, @Tomwyliehart)

November 18^th. Players will be locked and card production will begin. (@roktikitiki leading the charge, @mlbshowdownguru doing some understudy work)

January 1^st. 2013 set tentatively set to be completed.

March 1^st. Begin posting by position our 2013 set as we have for the 2011 and 2012 sets.
