#ShotsFriday: Thank You
The cream has begun to rise to
the top this year for our prediction makers. @jamesmruffin now has 3 home runs
thanks to the years leading fist pumper, Carlos Beltran. Beltran has gone deep
for 3 straight weeks. We would still like some suggestions on what you all
think would be fair compensation for winning our yearly award. I am still
leaning toward allowing our winner to pick a player and year to add to have his
card added to the MLB Showdown world (ex. Babe Ruth 1920). Make sure you get
your picks in for #shotsfriday for who you think will go deep.
We are going to take a break from
the managers for a week to give a thank you to some people who have helped us
out greatly these past few months. As many of you have come to realize we run
on a shoestring budget around here and run on a skeleton crew to try and bring
you guys information in a professional way. We do alright with the written
portions but our video segments have had room for improvements over the years.
It is a difficult medium to learn by oneself and some friends have been
gracious to share some tips which have made your experience a lot better.
Especially those of you who have enjoyed our top 10’s and how to play MLB
showdown segments. The video below has nothing to do with MLB Showdown. If you
here just to see what cards we are going to release I promise we will get back
to that starting Monday. I will warn everyone it is a religious spoken word
video. We are more likely to talk about long division than religion on here so
do not feel obligated to watch if you know it is not your cup of tea. This is
our way of saying thank you to some people who have helped us provide a better
product for you. If you enjoy it or believe some of your friends would please
share it with them.
