  1. Don't knock Terry Shumpert!!! I love that card. I still remember the first one I got in a pack. I turned to my brother and said "Who is Terry Shumpert? Whoa, this card is awesome!!!"

  2. Thanks for touching on Trout. Some scouts are calling him best player they've seen since Bonds, which I think is a bold statement to make at this stage in the game, but he has definitely had a great year. His 2012 card likely won't be the best one we've ever seen, but he could have bragging rights to youngest guy to ever have a 10.

  3. I love me some Mike Trout, ever since I heard about this kid I was excited to watch him play and he has not disappointed. Unfortunately because of the depth of CF, the guru didn't get to spotlight Austin Jackson in Detroit who is having a career year. He will be a very interesting card to look at as well. Michael Bourn is having another really solid year. Denard Span is working his way towards being a really cheap 9 or 10 with speed. Colby Rasmus is hitting a ton of home runs but needs to get on base too.

All that to say; this class will be deep and I love it.

  4. Sorry I left some people off the list. I have had enough girlfriends in my life that I know nobody wants to listen to me talk for more then 10 minutes

  5. Absolutely love me some centerfielders... Being from the dallas/fortworth area i love to see 2 solid centerfield cards coming from the rangers. Thanks to the guru for spotlighting those for me. As a whole the 2012 centerfield class is obviously going to be very solid and have great depth. definitely some great options
