I'm excited for Ryan Howard to get back! In regards to the "Casey Kotchman" type, what about Bryan LaHair? .362 OBP and 13 homers already. He could emerge as a nice 1B player. Particularly with the rumors swirling about a trade which would get him more playing time. With that said, I'm also interested to see where Brandon Belt and Anthony Rizzo end up.
ReplyDeleteAn interesting second baseman I would like to hear your thoughts on is Chase Utley and his return. Pro rated card, what could he end up looking like?
Justin Moreneau is another guy other than Pujols that I have hope for in the 2nd half. Former AL MVP is in his full season back from a concussion I believe. Maybe he starts to find his stroke in the 2nd half.
ReplyDeleteA second baseman I have my eye on is Jose Altuve. Double digit steals, .300+ batting average, .351 OBP. Not sure how he is in the field, but I typically like having speed at that position and don't necessarily need power there. Would love to hear about him in your next V-Log.
