#ShotFriday: Custom Rules
Only one more week of #shotsfriday picks after this one. It
has been a successful year thus far. The person who has enjoyed the most
success is @Tomwyliehart getting his 10th shot of the year with
someone else who has had a lot of success, That extends @Tomwylieharts lead for the 3 custom cards. @Chris_Roth also had Chris Davis to give Davis 7 on the year. That is the 5th for @Chris_Roth putting him in second place on the year with 5. @Roktikitiki is in third with 4. Myself @mlbshowdownguru, @jamesruffin3 and
@BucNforthecard all have 3. We will all be trying to sneak into that next
position and earn our own custom cards. Remember to send in your predictions
for who goes deep using our hashtag #shotsfriday or tweeting at me
@mlbshowdownguru.
One of our readers the other day asked me “why don’t you
have a custom rules tab on the blog”? since I had no good answer to him for why
we did not I decided to make one. Many of us have our own slight variations to
how the game ought to be played from different perspectives. We have long been
trying to change the strategy cards rules or tinker with them. Many have
different advancement rules. There have been numerous modifications to bullpen
and tired pitching rules. Some give advantages to relievers as specialists. I
have seen rules for suspensions and injuries. There is a lot of flexibility so I encourage
you all to share variations of the game that make it the most fun for you all.
The tab is with all the rest on the right.
